Following my cover "Sons de Carrilhones" classical guitar solo
Desoffree asked me about my microphones and VST plug ins
I'm posting my answer here which may be of interest to some

Thanks Doug, indeed recording is very important in guitar especially in "classical" guitar I used a pair of Behringer C2 Stereoset mics ( https://www.thomann.de/fr/ behringer_c2_stereoset.htm ) which for the price (46 euros the pair !) are simply incredible I use them for acoustic guitars and recently I recorded my neighbour who is a saxophone teacher at the conservatory, with one of these C2 mics, HEREhttps: //songcrafters.org/forum/index . php?topic=32434

For the treatment it is Reaper (I think that you use it too...) with this chain of effect

1/REA FIR which is an equ a subtraction of Reaper to be used sparingly

2/ REA EQ, with a dip in the midrange and bass

3/JS Stereo Enhancer with this setting

and 4/ MStereoExpander from MeldaProduction (free vst)

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.
