Original trombonist who also played keyboards, flute and did arrangements for Blood Sweat & Tears.  A musical "utility man".  Super talented.  Losing so many lately. :(

It was included on the 1971 album "B, S & T; 4" which reached #10 on the Billboard album chart.

ahhh... sorry to hear this.  rip sir.
I really liked this band.  I actually saw them in a community college gym in upstate NY in 1977 or 78.  I can't exactly remember.  What I do remember is how great they were.  Unique songs and interesting instrumentation and an excellent vocalist.
