Here's a track that i've been struggling with for a while... It's Lou Reed and Andy Kim meet On the Buses -type of an affair. It's offbeat pop!

DAMAGED GOODS

Damaged goods
That's me to you
Trying to get our lives together

Damaged Goods
Now you're being a fool
Trying to keep me here forever

CH:
I know that you've been lying
And i've been close to crying
You're never satisfied
Even when i'm dead, or dying

Damaged Goods
That's me and you
Trying to get our lies together

Damaged Goods
Oh, now i'm the fool?
Trying to keep our lives together

CH again.

Some improvised stuff :D

Outro:

We're happy together
Happy together

Living in sin
Swimming in gin
Happy as a pie
Happy until i die

Living in sin
Swimming in gin
Happy as a pie
Happy until i die
Happy together
Forever and ever
We be together

Edit: New full version. More knee slapping action + a happy ending!

This has a cool sixties vibe going on here that I am really liking. I think it's the strumming meets doubled vocals. The lyrics are a bit too relatable. Cool tune.

I was trying to remember the sound of the voice...and it hints at a early 70s group called "Mouth and McNeil".... really great sounds in there Zoltan....
and yes a very 60s vibe which is defo ok with me...that cool little lead in there is really good too...very catchy...
you make alot of songs but they don't sound alike...so good for you...

Nice 60's feel to this song with a cool touch of British invasion a la Kinks, Manfred Mann etc. The ending was a bit sudden but works well and I like the lyrics.

Yes I'm getting that 60's vibe too, it reminds me of "The monkeys",with a splash of the beatles when that guitar comes in. Great music and some really nice vocals and lyrics. Love that organ.
I have 2 profiles on this site, (NOW COMBINED INTO ONE PROFILE PAGE)
One is a musical partnership with Keith Allen, ( we record songs as "The Devil's Toupee").
The 2nd one is for my other musical projects and collaborations. (DarrenG)
Thanks for listening.

It's got that bouncy 60's feel to it, like something the Monkees would've done. The chorus harmony is absolutely to die for! I like the half-time raunchy guitar break in the middle as well. A whole lot of fun!

Aren't we all. That organ reminds me of a vox continental I had In the late 70s. ( the one that got away). I agree with the previous comment of doubling the vocals to give that Partridge Family vibe. Fun song Z
