really really got my attention when that chorus kicked in at 35 seconds or so...this is some really great folk, rock....it's like several styles in one...and the verses are very sweet sounding, pick up steam, chugging along...then that chorus kicks in...bravo Doug!

Great pop rock, lovely lovelorn lyrics and a real ear catching chorus. I love those many harmony vocals you added with each resulting chorus. Excellent mixing and arrangements too.

The chorus really catches the listeners attention. The verses are likeable and modest sounding which works for the song and the lyrics. The songwriting is kinda ageless, but i get a late 80's - early 90's "indie" vibe from this. Good stuff!

This song turned out great Des! I followed your process in creating this song and it's great to hear the final product. It covers many eras, which is cool! Your Buddy Holly cover song followed it on your jukebox and it could have been a lost Buddy Holly song!
