Fender to buy Presonus

Apparently this has been announced today.  I'm not sure what to make of it.  I love Fender guitars and Studio One. But it seems like these sort of buy outs don't always end well.
I guess we'll see.

It's seems though Fender is not the same shit that Gibson was -front office-wise.

Obviously, I'm a Fender and PreSonus user here.

My gut feeling is that this will be a good thing. No evidence for that yet.

Maybe Joe and Gregor will have to play more telecasters in their videos? Won't be too much of a strain for Joe, but Gregor?!?!?

I think both of these companies are solid and this merger was probably a good match.
