John and I worked up (and posted) a demo of this song previously. Although I dug it (involved a brief dalliance with a Line 6 HX Stomp), it lacked a bit of life/danger. I just stumbled on this band version very recently, and I must say The Electric MoO definitely had our moments. Makes me a bit melancholy...as any attempt to reconnect could potentially end in homicide.

Was part of a 26:00 medley of tunes from a band practice.

Back in the Woods

We're gonna light a fire back in the woods
Way out away from the road where nobody should
Cook us up some food and some good times
Maybe open a bottle of whisky or wine
We're gonna have some fun
Until we see the sun

We're gonna sample everybody's wares
Everyone brings more than their fair share
We'll make music with an old box and a jar
Dance and sing and take it a little too far
Tell some new tall tales
Laugh and gasp and wail

Come on have a good time
Firelight and moonshine
Music any style
Come find a smile

Join us if you feel you have the need
You know just exactly where we'll be
Go to the end of the road then take a right
Follow the path until you see the light
Take us as we are
Under the trees and the stars

Come on have a good time
Firelight and moonshine
Music any style
Come find a smile

Is just a piece of paper
To say a few lines
Make up my mind
