Sometimes i'll go to sleep while listening to something. This time it didn't really work as i couldn't help feeling like i was participating in this particularly drunken interview of sorts.

Jake E. Lee (Ozzy Osbourne, Badlands etc.) and David Friedman (The amp guru) are totally shit-faced in this Tone-talk interview. There's talk about smoking in hotel rooms and fishing. Even other people arrive into the room like Jakes girlfriend whose been waiting downstairs for over two hours and has been mistaken as a hooker while doing so...

I found this interview with Bob Dylan, from back in the mid 60's, amazing. I watched the whole darn thing.

after watching this I realized why it took so long for Boston to put out albums.  In this interview Tom Sholz actually said that he always felt insecure about his music and that it wasn't as good as what was on the radio.  My thoughts are that the first two Boston albums match up against just about any two first albums put out by anybody pretty darn well....
However the difficulties of working with Tom was wearing on band members and eventually brought about the exodus of Brad Delp and Barry Goodreau (and essentially Sib Hashian, drummer was "drummed" out)....
I would say we probably never will know how many sound designs were inspired by this guy.  I had a rockman X100 and I loved that thing.  I literally wore it out.
