Another late happy birthday wish!

As you know, I have a 9-year-old Malagasy daughter who is learning English. Recently she learned the word "dummy," and is practicing using it. The only context she has for the word is listening to me talk to our dogs.

Today she called me a dummy, and I said, "Hey, you can't call me a dummy." Realizing that she was still learning the strength of the word, she said, "I love you, you dummy."

You were the first person I wanted to share this story with.

Aw shucks Ted, thanks you big dummy! Also you gave me a nice present as I was unaware of that Magazine concert video from 2009, so it was a pleasure to watch it. I can dig it, as they say.....
