I love wah guitar!!!! It has never gone out of style.  I also have the Vox wah pedal.  Real nice control and tone, holy man that is good, that sharp strat tone sounds real good with the wah.  I usually play my Les Paul with my wah (and pretend to be a young Eric Clapton  ), never really thought about the strat, hmmm.
