Spinning circle holds up to 128 special plectrums which you can arrange to form a picking pattern of up to 128 steps. Hexaphonic pickup has separate outputs for each string via breakout box.

I would like to have instead of that wheel an actual solenoid actuating a mute and another jogging the wheel up and down enough to have it strike or miss the strings underneath.   Then you could sequence a blistering sequence of string strikes and mutes, and get some truly interesting drone and chug sounds.
