Are the Drum and Bass sounds in the DR-880 the same as those in the BR-1200/1600

Hey Group, Recently I was researching a used  BR-1200... During the process I dug out my old DR-880 drum machine and I came to the realization that the DR-880 may have been the Drum and Bass element used in the BR-1200/1600... Wondering...
