BR-600 was there ever a 2GB card update?

I seem to remember (from years ago) talk of getting the BR-600 to work with some 2GB compact flash cards. Did that ever happen or am I confused?

The BR-600 (and all of the flash-storage BRs except the BR-800 and BR-80) can only address 1 GB maximum. So while it might be possible to use a 2 GB card, the BR would only be able to use half of the card's capacity. Given that there'd be no advantage to using a 2 Gb card (other than availability), it would be best to use a 1 GB card if you can find one.
