After a short delay here is another song from the Box of Frogs album.  I know I say this all the time but this was a mare to mix with a new personal record of 72 tracks, about half of which were in the slightly unusual middle section.

I started this shortly after Christmas but one thing or another slowed down completion.  Both of the protagonists decided to make a meal out of health issues.  But here it is - with a very important message delivered by Trevor.

So this is life
In my plastic world
From the trash bags
To the carpets to
Plastic women
on the TV
Welcome to the plastic world we live in

Beware of what the business man says  because you can't believe a word from him
He'll just tell you , what you need and you need to  buy it from
If they can't make it with their hands  thats what the Activists said to me  then don't buy it from them
Business men want to take it all and they don't give a damn

Let the little plastic balls rain down from the clouds again
Let it rain, till we fill the seas

Let the little plastic men from other planets come to us
Just for them to see the mess we made of the seas

Theres the plastic bags, choking every Turtle
Drowning the fish
Plastic Splashing in the waves slowly replacing the sand

We live in a plastic world
Made of plastic thinking

You could say its Plastomonic
it's demonic
It's certainly not democratic
Because we don't want it
Do
We don't want it at all

I live in a plastic world
With plastic women
The becoming of plastic men
The leaders with plastic minds
The music is like hot like plastic bends the mind

Soldiers get in line please, Left right left right lets go and fight this war for civilisation
We must stop them at every point

I live in a plastic world
with lots of plastic people
It all seems so full of pretence its evil

I live in a plastic world
with these
people
Sometimes I think  it's just evil

A plastic world

DarrenG / The Devil's Toupee

Hey this is great. 72 tracks? Blimey :) I love this style of song. It reminds me of a lot of bands like led zep, pink floyd and electric six all merged together. Like the different changes here and there, brilliant lyrics and vocals and the music is just great.  :)
I have 2 profiles on this site, (NOW COMBINED INTO ONE PROFILE PAGE)

This is absolutely stunning.

I'm actually blown away at how good this is. You both are both absolutely at the 10/10 range on this one.

Trevor, your lyrics / vocals are at 100%

Paul, you always do good work. This is just as good as it gets.

The first reaction to this really is speechlessness. Kind of a dazed amazement.

It's off-the-scale incredible. Such accessible complexity. A mini rock-opera. So many amazing things happening... that operatic section around 3:20 - it's one of the finest things I've ever heard on Songcrafters. And then that kick-ass solo straight after. The playing and production blow me away. And Trev's stellar vocal is like he was destined to do this song. Worth every bit (72 tracks) of agony to form something this perfect.

Mind-blowing.

And deserves a much bigger / wider audience.

I was waiting for the next masterpiece by you both ! OK, I'm really admired technically, but most of all I like the song, and not being into progressive you have to stay happy with the Bowie comparison (expecially one section in the middle) ;-)

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.
