Gaming Mice with Macro buttons (Logitech G700, G600, and others)

So here's a hot tip for you home studio DAW users.   Logitech and others make mice with more, way more, than the usual number of buttons.  Feast yer ocular orbs on this:



So the point here isn't that we're playing Word of Warcraft, but like those MMO game players, we are playing a game called DAW with a lot of keyboard shortcuts, the idea is to put the keys you hit most, or menu items you have to go painstakingly drop down and click, and put them right under your fingers on the hand that is on your mouse.   I have transport controls, locate, scrub (fast forward and rewind), and other common things under my finger tips, while I mouse around.

Since my dominant (right) hand has a bigger neural pathway to the brain than the other hand, I find this easier than having my left hand mash keys on the keyboard.
