Me & my MBR, Telecaster, Jazz bass, Tiny Terror and pedals galore.

I've got no sense or sensibility
I'm just a face in the crowd
with hysteria like fireworks around me
and under-nourished skeletons
arising from the ground

and sunrise won't touch this hangover
through these dark green shades I will watch it bleed

well this road that we're on can be lonely
lonely for only the brave
and there's no respite in sight on the highway
when it's dark in the light of the day
you gotta hold on, hold on
to someone
who illuminates the way
a torch of the heart when it's dark
dark in the light of the day

lost behind these old fortifications
cut-off from the mainland by the sea
afraid to look directly in the mirror
in case that devil - yeah, that devil!
is staring back at me

and sunrise won't touch this hangover
through these dark green shades I will watch it bleed

well this road that we're on can be lonely
lonely for only the brave
and there's no respite in sight on the highway
when it's dark in the light of the day
you gotta hold on, hold on
to someone
who illuminates the way
a torch of the heart when it's dark
dark in the light of the day

Just love that unmistakable classic Greeny sound.
The way you fill out the soundscape with the different guitar sounds, is simply delicious.
As always I'm diggin the cool vocals / harmonies and THAT BASS.

Enjoyed the emotional journey, from being afraid to look in the mirror ~ to watching the sunrise bleed ~ to needing someone to hold on to.

Well done, indeed

Another great Beatlesy pysch number. I really like the lyrics on this one, philosophical in the way Harrison wrote. And once again, the BASS. So, so good. I think you'll be giving me some inspiration whenever I think of basslines from now on. Great job

TPB

The music is great as always but your vocals are spot on sitting on my back porch just chilling to this and watching spring erupt

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Love these Beatle-esque numbers you post, Tim. The vocals are excellent and those ringing guitars fit perfectly. Great lyrics, fantastic McCartney style bass lines and great production.

Fine tune here Tim. Those ringing guitars are indeed reminisce of the Beatles as are your wonderful vocals. The bass lines are terrific...no 1-5-1-5 for you! Excellent lyrics, sung as only you can. What a cool and distinct sound you have. Loved it!

Pop bliss. Such a full soundscape. Great lyrics and vocal harmonies. Beatle-esque, yes, but I also hear Perspex Island era Hitchcock in your production. Beautifully done.

Happy Greeny Thursday - I loved it! Your guitars and bass sound totally fab, with top class lyrics and vocals.

It's amazing how rich and yet also spare your instrumentation sounds - a place for everything and everything in its place.
