Seriously though Jim you are a pillar of this place, a fun guy to have on here and a great artist. Would love to meet in person one day.

I wonder if we should re-visit this topic to see if anyone has anymore ideas for member status names. Here's what we currently have:

And here's a breakdown of our membership by number of posts:

I'm not happy with the current post requirements for each membergroup. We should have one for 1,000 posts. That's a pretty significant milestone for many members and we don't currently have a membergroup for it. We've got 5 groups covering the range from 0 - 999 posts. I think that's too many groups for that range. And we've only got three groups for members with 1,000 or more posts. We should have more.

Maybe something like this would be better:

This way, you'd become a Full Member at 1,000 posts and get your first star. Thereafter, you'd get one more star and a new status at every 1k milestone up to 5,000. From 5,000 to 9,999 the number of stars remains at 5 (otherwise, it would get too crowded) but you'd continue to get a new status at each 1k milestone. For 10k and above, I'm not too sure where the milestones should be. Obviously, we need 10k and 20k. But maybe we should have a few more in between.

We'll need more names for all these new groups. I hope someone will come up with some cool ideas. If not, then perhaps we could simply add some plus signs to the current group names, like this:
