Turns out I can low-key Rap, if I'm angry or upset or passionate about something. So this got written.

2021 Workin' Song
---------------------

BA DA DA DA DA DA
DA DA DA DA DA DA
BA DA DA DA DA
DUM DUM DUM
BA DA DA DA DA DA
DA DA DA DA DA DA
BA DA DA DA DA
DUM DUM DUM

Here we go now
Here we go
Here we go now
Here we go
Up to the top again
round the sun
All round the planet
The brutal year is gone
grab me a mango lassi
and masala dosa
I feel like celebrating
that we aren't dead yet
No sir no sir no sir

2020 was kinda shit.
I am so far over it.
It's january 2021.
Here we go now.
here we go.
here go now
here we go.

Say goodbye to the worlds worst
president
thank god we only barely
survived that.

Worldwide we remember
those we love
who have died
May their memory be
a blessing
peace and love to you
all now
peace and love to you
all now
Everybody in china
Everybody in india
Everybody in australia
Everybody in europe and america
Everybody in canada and azerbaijan
Here we go now
Here we go now
Here we go.

Let that angry toddler be
His name is mud
He's history
It cost a lot
To learn what we know
May we recover
May we heal
May we grow
May we recover
May we learn
May we grow
Not burn

Black lives matter.
Yes they do.
Black lives matter.
I believe that's true.
No need for ifs or ands or buts.
We can do better for all the children
Who still haven't realized what's comin' straight at em.
We must do better
And we can do it
A dream of freedom
For everyone

Here we go now here we go.

It's gonna get a whole
lot better.
Although it might could get a whole lot worse
you ought not to say such things.
here we go now here we go.

We all stronger than we knew
we all kinder that we
were before
the
  ventilation
  device
was hit by the
  fertilizer
    spew

We all heading in the same direction
ain't nobody free
till everybody free
here we go now
everybody
here we go.

ba da dum dum
da da dum dum

We got dirty work to do
here's a workin song for you
here we go now
here we go now
here we go
watch us go
watch us go
watch us go

This is definately my kind of rap - loved the sentiment in the lyrics.

Amen to that. Yes you can Rap! Love the sentiment, it's coming across a bit like a mix of Johnny Cash doing a Rap with some electronica added to the mix.

That's awesome that it seems like Johnny.   Like Johnny it was unironic, but also like Johnny it feels a bit out of phase somehow.

I literally loved it when Johnny Cash did something odd and out of the box for him.  The most out of the box Johnny Cash performance (and thus one of my favorites) is the Wanderer, which apparently Bono wrote for him, specifically.

So... after I wrote the song above, then the bad stuff in Washington happened.

The dude I mention in this song literally incited his followers to believe his repeated lies that the election had been stolen, and sent these feckless losers, some armed to the teeth, some shirtless and wearing viking helmets,  up to the Capitol building where some of them died.  It was an act of terrorism beyond that which I had expected.   One woman who was shot and killed by the police lost her life because she believed the lies of the 45th President of the United States.  What's more pathetic? To believe this liar, or to realize that the most powerful man on earth is also the biggest liar and most dangerous sociopath in American history.

Another woman who believed Trump's lies and who also believed she was starting a new revolution and that it was 1776 again was upset that the capital police maced her.  Um.  If you're overthrowing the USA, you should feel lucky you only got maced.   Normally we lock you up or we kill you, if you try to violently overthrow a country. So, what's your deal?

His VP should have ousted him a year or two back and invoked the 25th when it was clearly right to do so.  Instead, every institution that could have fought back against a tyrant in the whitehouse was controlled by his cronies.   Liar, criminal, terrorist.   Man who orders someone to do a criminal act and then pardons them for that criminal act. What more can you say.

If you supported him, or voted for him, you need to do a little soul searching, friend.

Catching up a bit on this one, this is pretty cool Warren. Your low key rapping works really well and is very effective, you recorded the vox really well. The backing is atmospheric and very well put together, I like how you allow space for the vocasl to come through despite there being quite a lot going on. Your emotion comes across here.
