All in all, I thought my open mic recording session went well last night. Out of about 7 acts 3 bought Cd's for $20...not great but not bad for a 1st attempt.  I Was pleasantly surprised at the quality and how smoothly it all went. Set up was stressful but once I got it right, no problems. I'm hoping that the $ guy in this venture might make an investment...we shall see. I told him for about $2500 I could make a decent studio in his bar that could be taken down/semi-portable. His response was "can you do it in a van" so I said no but I could in a small RV. He seems quite interested...we shall see.
