been picking around in my uncle's song list again and found this little gem. so many beautiful lines in the story. sad kind of tale that happened before i was born i think. i particularly love that line <looking around for a makeshift rope> the depths of despair i guess.

Ray is a master songwriter/ story teller. Always love his lyrics and fantastic music. This song is great love song tinged with sadness.
