I think all of us here in this songcrafter community are thinking of you there Alfredo, it sounds really hard on the frontline there for you.

Even here in Ireland it seems we are tackling it slightly differently to the UK... we are closing down schools and colleges whereas in the UK they are staying open a bit longer. Both governments say they have a logic to the way they are doing it and we the citizens have to hope they are right. UK seem to think closing schools now is not a good idea, but the Irish gov thinks it is a good idea...

A group of Canadian scientists has successfully isolated and grown copies of the  coronavirus responsible for  COVID-19, making way for a potential vaccine.
 Quebec-based biotech Medicago says it has taken the first step towards a vaccine by producing a virus-like particle of the  coronavirus, which will now undergo testing for safety.

One of the guys at work has a conspiracy theory, saying that certain countries have not been mentioned in the news and this is a lab created event.

I'm expecting all kinds of theories to be coming in the months ahead.

That's it, the closure of all schools, high schools, university has been decided in France from Monday, we have to keep our grandson (my daughter and her husband are both in education), which is not an ideal solution since we have my wife and me 70 years old and common pathology related to age.

My strong advice, JP, is that you keep your grandson with you at home ALL THE TIME, without any contact with other boys and girls, since guys and girls and babies are known super-spreaders of COVID-19, because infection in them is inapparent in most cases, with no symptoms at all, but they could spread the same. I know it's not easy, but...

Stay safe, JP. I read that France yesterday has exactly the same situation of Italy 9 days ago.

Just to post a (slightly) positive perspective amongst the gloom and stupidity of many of our leaders and panic buying fools. We are currently living in a small town (pop 3,500) in a rural part of England. I walked down our High Street today to see there was a tent set up run by community volunteers coordinating how we should plan for Covid-19 in the village and all help each other, especially the vulnerable. It's good to see that not everyone is panicking and some are thinking of others.

Thanks, my friend. To be clear, what we see TODAY is what had begun 8-10 day ago. So, next weekend we'll understand if the national quarantine, that has begun last Tuesday, we'll be useful.
