I downloaded BRwav editor from here and then a newer version from Boss directly. However neither are compatible with my MacOs  Catalina version 10.15.2  Boss site say support is currently under review for this operating system.

Hopefully they update the editor and I can use it with my MacBook.

Get yourself a Windows VM running on the Mac. You can then use any Windows software you care to.

Dear Jamie, very old story, this is the main problem with everchanging Apple OS: suddenly your hardware is impossible to be used on your Mac. For this reason during the years i had to say goodbye to: Boss GT-Pro, Roland Sonic Cell, Edirol M-16DX...All of these, great hardware, but useless, since the drivers and/or the editors don't work any more. This is the main reason people remain often on older Apple OSs, but:
- this way you cannot  use the new software versions/updates (for instance the last Logic Pro works only for the most recvent OSs)
- if your Mac is new, there is nothing you can do except hoping
