Geir

Thanx for kind words, on both music and words ! I still listen to this myself from time to time, cause some of the emotions captured here surfaces from time to time in my own or someone close's life.

I realize there's a few quistions I haven't answered.

The acoustic guitar is recorded with the built-in mic (as is the vox) as the mic on my old Jasmine is busted an I hadn't got my Morgan yet at that time.

There's 6 tracks.
1: Ac. Guitar and vox I recorded as a guiding track but kept in the final mix.
2: Ac guitar
3: Main Vox
4: El. guitar (ibanez st-300) with tremolo
5: El. guitar (ibanez st-300) with tremolo at half the speed as 4:
6: Bass

Thanx for that  robyn hitchcock reference ! I'm flattered !! Thank you for sharing  that performance too!

I try not to self-bump too often (at least not as obvious as this ;D ) but this is how I fear I will feel on the 1st of March.

Geir, I listened to this awesome song for the first time now. It's so soulful...

p.s. qhich patch didi you use for vocals and/or acoustic?

Thank you

...and keep playing, singing and writing like this  ;)

Wow - really good tune Geir! I must have missed it before, but damn I'm glad it got bumped.

The lyrics and melody line are just fantastic.
Your acoustic sound so full! The recording sounds great.
Really professional job man!!!

On another note:
Isn't it unique the way musician's help to "heal" themselves and others through their art? I am always amazed to hear people's songs, poems, etc. when they are in mourning. It is as real as it gets.

I hope your sorrow passes quickly Geir.
It ain't pretty being easy.

Okay to Cover

Geir

Thanx for the comments my friends !

sorry I'm late answering this. I probably used "P10: OnBoard1" at that time both for vocals and guitar. Now I almost exclusively use "P04: Only Lmt" or turn all effects off. Then I add effects only if needed by bouncing.
