That is a real bummer to hear of Marty Balin's passing at 76 years old..........The Jefferson Airplane, Marty and the S.F. music scene were very influential on my early musical development. I still listen to Surrealistic Pillow to this day. I saw them in concert at The Fillmore West in the 70's. Marty and the band definitely lived by the rock mantra of "Sex, Drugs, and Rock 'n Roll". RIP in the great psychedelic sky Marty..........'

Was just discussing his passing with a local friend. I must admit I'm not too hip to the band beyond the hits. I guess I always more of a Hot Tuna guy. Always loved the vibe and vocal delivery of this tune, though (especially once the organ comes in).
