Any Lap Steel Players here?

Greeny, I hate to be an enabler (wait, who am I kidding?), but I think you should go for it.  I know you would put it to good use, and it would add another color on the palette.  Besides, the rest of us can then live vicariously through your purchase.

I've mentioned Steve Kimock before and can't say enough about him.  Here's a minute and a half or so of him playing some lap steel.  Not my favorite playing by him, but it seemed relevant to the thread.

Try (the very unusual) track 8 in the embedded player on the page listed above).  I love the transition that happens at 3:00 or so.  Not lap steel but great stuff.
