Video/Audio editing software

Hi Guys.

I want to prepare audio files and add some visual enhancements to get ready for YOU TUBE

I need a product that's going to give me HD visuals and quality audio ( I use Lame to convert my Wave files to the highest quality Mp3).

Any recommendations would be gratefully received

I highly recommend AVS4YOU suite of software.  I use their audio editor and also their audio converter software - one small fee gets a multitude of software to include video editors and a bunch other.
