It seems that Alfa Omega has made in Finland - on these days they're usually designed here and made in China...

That's probably why it is not on the cheap side! It cost twice what the HB guitarbass cost (which is of course made in China). The Alpha/Omega is a beautifully made piece of kit. Darkglass clearly aims their stuff mainly at bass players and those into more of the metal side of things. I've been listening to a lot of doom and prog metal from the Scandinavian region over the last few years so some of those influences may show up in my work.......
