Falling
written & performed by Hook
Its the bluest burning sky
Not sure what to do with it
It just doesn't seem like me

A beautiful clear day
Just brings me down
And leaves me wanting more

Falling ever so deeply
Falling ever so fast
Sinking into myself
Wishing for a change

The freshest water
From the coldest spring
Yet satisfied I'm not

A simple prayer
Only brings confusion
Sadness and disappointment

Wow Hook what are they putting in the water there in Orlando? This is a really enjoyable listen. The slightly off drum beat during the verses (kinda 3/4 time) really sets it up. I have been working with a couple tunes in 3/4 time. Great song!

Deep lyrics brother, and great lyrics too. Very introspective, makes for a great song. Love the low key vocals - spot on.

Really like the clear and focused production here, nice lead guitar work which noodles around the backing. The vocals take centre stage and come across really well. But the lyrics counterpoint the positivity of the music with a sad, poignant message. I hope things are looking better from your perspective now.....
