Isn't Enough To Hold
written & performed by Hook
Melting into memories
A comfortable chair of faded dreams
Kicking my feet up on the past
Visions of what was but didn't last

My stars have all faded
My moons have grown cold
This vacuum I've created
Isn't enough to hold

Dissolving into conscious thought
Tightening my grip though its all for not
Keeping track of the ways and means
Coming apart at the seems

Echoing inside my cavernous mind
Not sure I'm ready for what I might find

The darkest thoughts I've buried deep
Haunting me in deepest sleep

I love the crunchy electric guitar. And the lead guitar was a very nice surprise. I don't think I've heard you play much lead guitar before. You do it well and I think you should put more lead guitar in your recordings.
