It looks fantastic for its intended use of live mixing and recording. But as a replacement for a digital multitracker like a BR, Zoom or Tascam, it has a few limitations. It doesn't seem to have any virtual tracks, guitar effects, or drum machine. Still, combined with a good DAW, it could be quite a good recording solution because you could get all that missing stuff from software.

Hook

I was just gonna ask about the virtual tracks. It looks sweet for the right situation but I love my Tascam Dp24sd.
My other thought is with that small screen your gonna have tons of menus and Ive never liked Zooms menu system.

Anyone gotten any hands on time in a store with one?   I'm curious. It looks fun.

My brother just bought a Behringer X32 which is basically 90% a mixing desk but it does at least let you record up to 8 channels to SD.
