Vote for the Sept/Oct 2017 "Originals" festival

It's time to vote for our next two festivals which will run from Sept 1 to Oct 31. Voting starts now and runs for 5 days. You can change your vote any time until the closing of the poll on August 30th. To do so, click "Remove vote" to cancel your previous vote, then vote again.

This poll is for the "Originals" festival. There is a separate poll for the "Covers" festival. Please vote in both polls.

Remember, "Covers" is covers only, and "Originals" is originals preferred but covers welcome unless otherwise stated in the festival's description.

• Feedback Fest - Original songs utilising feedback techniques (in the style of Jimi Hendrix, The Jesus and Mary Chain, etc.) Feedback can be achieved naturally or using effects pedals (DigiTech FreqOut, for example) or samples.
  
  
• Homemade Rhythm Fest - Rhythm/drum track has to be created using household items such as pots, pans buckets, keys, etc. No real drums, samples, or electronic simulations allowed. Other tracks in the song can use conventional instruments and vocals but all of the drum and percussion sounds must be homemade. Use your imagination.
  
  
• Songs about Politics
  
  
• Songs about Distopian Societies
  
  
• Buildings and Food Fest - Original songs about buildings and/or food
  
  OR
  
  Covers of songs by Talking Heads.
  
  
• Under2Fest II - Songs that are under two minutes in length. No exceptions (2:00 won't be accepted). Silence, noise, count-ins, etc. are included, so be sure to trim your songs properly before posting to ensure that they'll be under two minutes.
  
  
• HomeFest - Songs about the homeless or anything to do with homes.
  
  
• FalsettoFest - Embrace your falsetto voice and record it proudly. See this message for more information.
