Went in to buy some strings ...
Came out with a Fret King - Supermatic!!!

It was a easter special £1200 guitar reduced to £250. I think it had been hanging around for a while, and has some issues to sort - mid pick up is intermittent - so something needed to be re-soldered. Shouldn't be too hard (famous last words). Plays and sounds great (apart from the mid pickup), and also tunes itself, which is pretty damn weird.

So ....opps.

Nope - its the tune-o-matic pickup. You dial in the tuning, and the guitar retunes via servers built into the bridge!!!!!

So this is what it sounds like. This is a scratch tune idea (so its a bit messy, and I haven't quite sorted out the meters and all that, and the bass is a bit lost in places) that I put together last night (using the Vintage Lemon Drop for the rythmn) - so was hanging around almost waiting for a new guitar :-). The solo is the Fret King through the Kemper - apologies for the endless solo, but its a new geetar!!!!!

First off, that self tuning bridge with the multiple preset tunings is outrageously cool! The guitar looks great and all for 250 Euros! Your jam is the icing on the cake....well done on all accounts Bruno! I want one...... but at that price, lol.
