Anyway, I've got a Boss ME-6, must be nearly 20 years old. Never had a problem with it, and if you're prepared to tweak the Presets you can achieve almost any sounds you wish. Of course these day, you've probably got every sound you'll ever need already built-into the BR Model you've purchased. S'pose eventaully there'll be a surplus mountain somewhere completely built on Boss pedals etc.

Here's my Boss ME-6. The manual was printed in 1992, so I'll have to save up and buy it a card for its 18th Birthday. Never had a bit of trouble with it, and you can also run external pedals through it for added bite should you wish. I have the EV-5 Expression pedal which can act as a volume control. It's all very nice.
