I only know Randy Rhoads from his Jackson artist-model guitars, so it's good to have my musical horizons broadened too.

Hey Greeny, I'm sure you've heard Blizzard of Oz?! That's all Randy Rhoads awesome guitar playing on such hits as Crazy Train, Mr. Crowley, I Don't Know..Ozzy Osbourne!! Randy Rhoads is always going to be one of my biggest guitar influences...As soon as I clicked play on this track, I was in awe, man! Good stuff!

Great playing and production !!!! Love the sound of those 12/11-strings !! For the vocals I'd give it another try one octave down, that's what I had to do on EPL that I wrote when I had a singer with an amazing range, I know there are others here that do the same, and the results are astounding. Just because we've heard a song performed one way doesn't mean it have to be that way the next time.

Thanks everybody, I think I might add vocals an octave lower to get that voice doubled sound, I'll see how it sounds, I'm glad that you guys liked it.

PS, The strings I used for the 12 string guitar are Exciler Strings that are coated and more expensive and not sopposed to break that easy, yeh right!
The string broke when I was tuning all the strings down a Half step, Because thats how the song was originally recorded. Oh well.

This song (And every other Ozzy tune available at the time) was always cranked up in the locker room after football practice at my high school, with 20 kids singing along to it - brings back memories.

Jim, you could be like one of my buddies in Maine - just replace the broken string!! I've never seen so many packages lying around of Ernie Ball's Super Slinky with the high E string missing! Maybe there's a use for those things...

Excellent job Jim, just to take on a Randy song takes some serious cohones... and singing Ozzy even more so.

Randy Rhoads... One of my favorite guitarists of ALL time. Can't even imagine what he would have done had his life not been cut so short, I think he was 25 when he was killed, such a shame.
