Hello everyone and happy Thursday!!
Here is a song I put together yesterday
from the Late and Great Randy Rhoads.
another underated guitar player that lost his
Life at such a young age from a tragic accident.
Being a teenager in the  80's Randy was a
great inspiration to me and his music actually
got me to take a few music theory classes
in High Scool. Me on Vocals, Some pitch problems
this song was out of my voice range but I tried my Best.

I also broke one of my G-Strings on my twelve
string while recording this
Guitar center road trip, YESSS!!!
May try some Fender Telecasters.

Never heard this song before, but it's great. I love the jangle of a twelve string, and you nailed all the guitar parts really well. Excellent stuff. I only know Randy Rhoads from his Jackson artist-model guitars, so it's good to have my musical horizons broadened too.

The Year this song Came out is
the Year I started taking Guitar lessons around 82-83
I hated those MEL BAY Books as a KID!!
I didn't last too much longer taking lessons.
I discovered the Monthly Magazine Guitar Player.
Guitar Tabs were my Best Friend!!

Wow Jim, great job - I think it takes alot of intestinal fortitude to sing a song like this!  I love the combination of 12 string and electric guitars!

Me too, I don't know this but enjoyed it. Well done Jim, altho the vision of you breaking your G-string did put me off a bit.....

I haven't hear this either and it sounds like a hard song to sing.  But you did a very good job!  Your 12 string sounds wonderful. Even minus your G-string. Oops that didn't sound very good. LOL
