So over the weekend, in my sanctimoniously self righteous way of spreading positivity,  I caused a supreme amount of anger to another member and was accused of being a 'troll". Sadly that part I guess was true, regardless if I was politeish, I could have just kept my trap shut. I hate to think I'm some internet troll, so I'm gonna make sure I'm not in the future. Needless to say, this song was inspired by that and is featuring my new Recording King, soprano banjolele, craigslist find on Tuesday. Wrote & recorded today in the car...I did have the chorus lyrics but the rest came today. Audio recorded/mastered with the BR80 & the video was taken with my Tascam DR-V1HD & edited with Wondershare Video Editor.
I'll Find Myself
written & performed by Hook
I wonder if it's different types of chemicals
mixing and swirling within my blood
Amplifying my sensitivities
And letting loose a flood
pointless disapproval
and meaningless dissension
Anger stoked like a fire
just to see the Flames Ascension

The world's full of assholes
That each of us try to hide
the dirtiest Secrets
the shittiest thoughts
The plots that clot
and all the whatnots
Thar hide at the back of the Shelf
It seems thats where
I'll find myself

I wonder if its a real disorder
like bipolar or schizophrenia
Some kind of
Tourettes of the heart
At least then I could explain my part

Because the Hook brings you back
I ain't tellin' you no lie
The hook brings you back
On that you can rely

Well done, Mr. Hook - I was a bit reluctant to play what I was afraid might be an explicit video! ;)

I do hope the offended party gives it a listen. That banjo-uke looks sweet, and you sure make it sing.

Peace on!

A true artist finds inspiration in every experience life throws up. And sometimes "throws up" is exactly what it does.

You've turned the weekend's experience (whatever it was - I'm not privy to the details) into something positive. The song's a keeper; the playing's great. And I love the video, young man!
Dueling BR1600s. Beats banjos.

I could never write lyrics like that. I don't know how to even approach something like that. Well done.

You are not a troll bro, no way I could even imagine something like that. You're positive and inspirational - Love this tune and video, a talent well beyond my measure of comprehension.

So I guess I'm the one that needs to remind you that you're the man!!!!

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet!! :)

Love the uke bango,You get a great sound out of any instrument.
It's a gift and so are you to us ,indeed we get many paths of inspiration from many places and this bad experience you had has turned into a positive for us.
Negativity rears it's ugly head again and is squashed by positivity.
And that my friend is a lesson to us all.
Well done.

I second cuthbert's thoughts. And do hope the offended party gives it a listen. And remember you can always PM a Mod to assist a Rocker.

Well you do have a bit of a quick temper which you are prone to voicing online and once it's online it's part of your carbon footprint forever.

Tourette's of the heart is such a great line.
