GAS alert. Listen to the Hendrix one without the vid playing, and you'd swear it was a guitar playing. Not sure that I can justify buying this, but I want one :-) Played with on in Anderton's (where vid 1 was recorded, and I bought my Kemper  ;D ;D ;D) - and its bloody brilliant. Note sure how long it would last tho.

Impressive bit of kit and even more impressive playing.  But I'm confused - why would you not just use a guitar to do all those things?

Does it do other stuff too?

Ah GAS has no logic :-) But I love the idea of adding that extra dimension to the keyboard, it is so much more expressive. If I bought one, it would probably be a waste of money for me, as I'm not much of a keys player - but .......

At first I sort of missed the point of this. As ODH said... why not use a guitar to sound like a guitar? But then it struck me... what if you don't play guitar but still want that sound on a track? Us guitar players are well versed in using midi devices to get piano & other keyboard sounds out of a strat... so I suppose this is the keyboard players equivalent of the guitar synth.

So its the next generation of keyboard - if you are keyboard player, it should be great at replicating any instrument - for example
