Here's an original acoustic "spirit-folk" ballad.......just in time for Easter no less.

Alleluia

Dust of angels showered over me
Golden in the glow of blinding light.
Reaching out their hands, attempt to rescue me,
Offering this blind man sight.

Alleluia...............Alleluia

Forty days and nights have come and gone for me,
I wanted to believe in every word.
Faithful sing of hope, and pray, to souls set free,
I wonder if their voice is ever heard.

Spirit of the Holy please take hold of me,
Keeper of the light unlock the chains,
Somewhere down the road,
Will the truth take hold,
Over me.

A rush of angels overpowered me,
Opening my eyes to golden light.
Reaching out my hand, I begged they rescue me,
From the depths of hopelessness took flight.

"Play because you love it. Don't worry about if it will ever make any money, just understand that playing is an end in itself, and you play music, it will make your life better. And, don't worry about being a star, don't worry about making money, worry about nothing, just sit down with your guitar and let it speak to you and that will make your life better. It will bring beauty into your life. It's a great thing to do."     ---- David Crosby
