Here's the 2nd tune I finished last night in the car. I've been sitting on the guitar & drums for a few days and put the rest together last night. A little more bluesier than some of the other bastardized jazz tunes I've come up with.
1 guitar
1 drums (garage band-stereo)
1 U bass
1 Tenor Sax
1 vocal (stereo)
At All
written & performed by Hook
I don't often understand
everything that is happening
all the time
and I wonder all the time
if I need to understand
anything at all

And I don't realize
when I've taken something
just across the line
Or perhaps to the point
where there is no return
No return at all

I don't see the end
I don't see past this point
and I often wish I did
because it leads me
nowhere at all

Because the Hook brings you back
I ain't tellin' you no lie
The hook brings you back
On that you can rely

Wow - this is a crazy tune, with crazy looseness in its timings. Love that crazy sax break in the middle. This IS jazz.
Great stuff.
