Hi all, finally got round to playing something on the Squier Telecaster. It started off as a country song and progressed from there (or possibly regressed). Still getting used to the fretboard, I've never had a maple neck before and it sounds a bit crisper than I'm used to, but so far so good. Hope you enjoy.      Willie

Track 1 Fender Acoustic panned left
Track 2 Telecaster (rythmn) panned right
Track 3 Brand x bass Panned left
Track 4 Telecaster Lead
Track 5 Keyboard
Track 6 Keyboard
Track 7/8 Vocal

You turned your back
And the knife went in
Who can you trust
If you can't trust your friend
The answer is clear
It aint no-one here

You told them the truth
Should have told them a lie
If they don't know the answers
They can't make you cry
The answer is clear
It aint no-one here

Told my best friend
All about you
But he stole you away
Now I'm feeling blue
The answer is clear
It aint no-one here

How could she be so cruel
How could he treat me like a fool
Thought he was my brother

That geetar sounds sweet brother. I really dig the contrasting rhythm guitar parts panned out, swirling round my brain...hypnotic almost. You are an inspiration, prolific and so consistent in quality and creativity...very nice tune.
Rock on my brother!

A good song Willie and you've got the Squire Tele singing with boldness, tone and sustain! I prefer a maple neck on guitars not so much for the tone but the lighter color seemed to keep me from getting lost on the fret board in those dimly lit pubs and night clubs I used to play in. Anyway good song and good sounding Tele!

Loving how that lead sits in the track...something with which I often wrestle.

This sounds like Dylan to me. Really nice post.
