It's almost been a year since I last made a post here...Life got a little too rough soon after and I seemed to have stepped away from a lot of things. Haven't stopped writing though. Things are okay. Anyway, just wanted to share a short, recent piece. I wonder about it sometimes. 

Soaked and sick...
Disturbing thoughts I am always with.
And I've had enough of these games.
Enough wearing these safe and sure
Lies on my face.

I have long since destroyed every reason.
And there is no such thing as
Living for my own sake.

There are no words of faith to
Ever outweigh the lack of
Sense it makes.
