Peace on Earth
Andy Casson 18th December 2015
The signs in the skies say winter's on the way
And the carols wing gladly from the church
While every child I know quietly whiles the time away
For the day when there is peace upon this earth

For all that you give, for every day you greet
I pray you appreciate it's worth
Be generous of heart, be kind in what you say
And there will be peace upon this earth

Words of the wise mean nothing
If the hearth that received you is no more
If I am hungry today will that change on Christmas Day?
Please listen if I knock upon the door

If I did decide to take in what they say
That somehow there has been a virgin birth
A long time ago, in a stable far away
A child brought us peace upon this earth

Farrell Jackson

Excellent message in the lyric Andy but the star is the dreamy atmosphere you've capture or created with your vocal,  the acoustic guitar, and the droning synth. The outro with the slide steps it up as the song moves to the exit.... while  leaving me wanting more of it. Nice work here!

Not a sleigh bell or kids choir in sight & it still sounds like a proper Xmas song. Great take on the seasons festivities.

Andy - where have you been? Great to hear you again, I love hearing your music. I love the tension in this track, its feels like it might explode at any second, but always remains on the money. That's a really cool skill - love that.

Really good. Love the general vibe on this, very thought provoking. Vocals are great and a good addition to the Xmas Fest, sits in there nicely.

The resonator over the droney tones is great. Way to keep everything simple . Lets the great lyrics/vocal shine through.

Bruno was spot on as well. This builds so nicely.
