here's one that I wrote last spring but the lyric never got finished. Guess there's no real passion for nor real experience of the topic on my part. :)
I copy-pasted some phrases to fill in all the gaps in the lyrics to complete it.

Cold winter day turns straight to morning
We race at 100 miles per hour
to reach salvation
and the easy money
pours from the heavens
We stuff it all inside our pockets
and find redemption
All the easy money
It buys things, babe
It's burning holes into your rooftop
It drives you crazy
Can you feel it's due?
Can you feel it's due?
Can you feel it too?

You sing all day for the easy money
and stare the clock, counting the hours
to when you get to use it
The easy money
A gift from the heavens
Burns a hole into your pockets
and drives you crazy
All that easy money
It buys things. babe
Burns a hole in to your rooftop
Your own saviour
Can you feel it's due?
Can you feel it's due?
Can you feel it too?

Nothing compares to the easy money
You count the days and then the hours
till you get to praying
for the easy money
that falls from the rafters
Burns a hole into your pockets
and drives you crazy

The easy money
Your only saviour
Burns a hole into your rooftop
and drives you crazy

Can you feel it's due?
Can you feel it's due?
Can you feel it too?

I was about to comment on the bass-heavy mix when I realized the bass was turned all the way up on my speakers. Now I'll say helluva nice mix. I'm liking the vocal delivery as well as the cleaner tone on the guitar solo. Cool choice.

Love the dark gloom-laden tone of the lyrics. The production & playing are superb, mate. That guitar solo is magnificent, by the way :)

Last tune in the Latest Songs jukebox today and I'm glad I caught this one. That progression has such a moody drive to it and you vocal fits nicely. I dig muchly.
Rock on!

Because the Hook brings you back

Great listen, I loved the guitar tones you used, lovely solos as well. I've never had easy money though either....
