Total bullshit! I don't believe it for a second, capitalist propaganda if you ask me. It crap like the 4th chord, Elvis being dead or moon landings that really get my blood boiling! I think that is pretty much proof of why sensorship is a good thing and people shouldn't be allowed to think for themselves.
Acid baths for everyone!

No way!!!!
But I would'nt worry people cos if there is a 4th chord -
it will be bought up and patented -
the sheeple will never be allowed use it-
Look at the damage it could do to the music industry-
Just think of the damage  downloading caused -
Anyway I doubt it-what would they call it????

These punks, they think no-one's done it before...

Status Quo, they found the 4th chord, YEARS AGO - it's the same bluddy one. And they've been using it since 77/78 or so (I think they found it in a John Fogerty song) - a year or so BEFORE most punks decided to stop playing prog-rock and twenty minute keyboard-solos.

The Mighty Quo (TM) have probably even found the 5th, 6th, 7th, etc, etc... I wouldn't put it past them, the geniuses that they are... it's just I haven't listened to any of their records since then.

There's 12 chords in all (hence the popular carol, The Twelve Chords of Christmas), you can use them ALL without sounding even remotely prog...

By the way if anyone tries to tell you there's a 13th chord, it's just the same as the first one but with your legs crossed...
