From the same scotch-fueled evening as "Heart's Captor" a few weeks back. Recorded with just the on-board mic of the Micro BR on a table between us. John (Lurker) did the lyrics and vocals.

Don't Mind Me

Winter's sigh
Turned the skies to gray
It was hard to find
The will to try today
Long dead leaves
Littering the street
It's hard to find
A friendly eye to meet

Don't mind me
I'm just walking down your street
I only see
The ground in front of me

If I don't keep moving
It's likely I will freeze
But it's not the chill
That's taking it out of me
I've lost my way
And it's getting hard to say
Whether I'll get there
Tomorrow or today

Don't mind me
I'm just walking down your street
I only see
The ground in front of me

The long lost stranger
Is passing through this town
These people worry
That I may stick around
But don't you mind
I'll be passing on
Be out of town
Between the dusk and dawn

Don't mind me
I'm just walking down your street
I only see
The ground in front of me

Very nice song, I love the way you blend your rhythm and lead playing. I had a vision of us surrounded by the MBR the br80 and the 008 for the ultimate built in mic test.
Rock on!

For various reasons I'm almost a tea totaller these days but I used to love the relaxation on reality that a good scotch can bring. The spontaneity is there and I loved it.    Willie

Nice one. Love the relaxed vibe...

And what guitar playing! Is that really just one guitar?? If yes, WOW, hats off... If no, and you're both playing, WOW, that's tight, I can't hear a join... er, hats off

Lovely stuff :)

Gents, that is some fine playing and singing and a really clean recording. Was this a LiTDR/kitchen track? Super-impressive, regardless.
