I used my Epiphone Pee Wee electric for this one. A good friend of mine set it up for me but it's pretty delicate to play. If you apply to much pressure on the strings it alters the pitch. I used a tremolo effect on this that covers that up pretty well. I succumbed to some more GAS, that I will go into in another post, and that should hopefully be the end of this nonsense. written & recorded today on the MBR.

7 Every Time
written & performed by Hook
7 days in the week
Seems like it ought to be enough
7 seas to sail
Fine until they get rough

From snow whites dwarfs
to notes of the scale
Throughout religion
Heaven & hell
The Holes in our head
there 7 of them
Points on a sheriffs star
7 chakras

Add any two sides of a die
You get 7 every time

7 continents
All floating in the seas
7 deadly sins
Tormenting me

This production has a real 60's sound to it - its that fragile sounding pee-wee that does it. I think its sounds great, quite distinct. Really interesting lyrically as well, very cool track brother.

This is very cool indeed, love the lo-fi sound to the drums and vocal effects. This sounds quite a bit like a band i have listened to a lot lately called Unknown Mortal Orchestra, you should check them out. Awesome track Hook!

Got to agree with the previous comments... a very cool, '60s retro vibe. Top notch :)

I was listening to some more recent ZZ Top on the way in; the guitar reminded me of Gibbons a bit.   Which is a good thing.

I love the lyrics to this, too, beautifully observed.

Great song.  PiePod bound.

No.  You're too far into the GAS vortex, you'll never get out.  You need professional help.
