I wanted to post something from my new and beloved side project, Bastardon, so here's a fresh mix of a happy singalong anthem called "Worms".  The song was written in April and recorded in early May this year.

The difference between my heavier and folksier material had gotten so vast that I figured it better to present the heavier material under a different, "band" name, so as not to scare off listeners one way or the other.
Still, everything you hear there is me, so it's every bit as much of a solo thing for the time being.

WORMS

the withered, wasted, wounded
gloom of the land
i throw myself inside your
tar velvet sand
the skin all wretched and torn
the scars are too big to hide
and I know the worms return to creep inside
they return to creep inside me

come watch me slowly turning
to someone else
and study page after page
what the doctrines tell
A child's call in the distance
wish you could read my mind
where I know the worms return to creep inside me
they return to creep inside me

worms

lay over, little lamb of love
lay over for your kind
is buried in this desert land
deep in it's rotten soil
Our love will fly away to
magnet starfield trap
though I know the worms return to creep inside me
they return to creep inside me

ok, hah,  so I have absolutely no idea how to get anything to work here, yet, and the old forum guides aren't much of a help, asking me to always click on things that aren't really there, hahah.  Well, maybe some another day. :)

edit: does work now, I hope and think!

Well, you have scared me but you haven't scared me off!   ;) ;) :)

Brilliant bit of heaviness.  Great evil guitars and menacing vocals.  Absolutely love it.

Another tune I listened to yesterday but didn't comment on. Great stuff, quite different from your other side and that is quite cool. I dig those menacing guitars.

some high praise, guys. Thanks a lot!

I guess the biggest compliment so far has been that "Tony Iommi would be proud of that".
Never felt so humble in my life  :o

This is a different kind of folk music. Loving those slow arpeggiated chords. Great production.

Yes I can hear the Tony Iommi influence in there.
Sounds like a great heavy song to me.
