what's this one about? oh i don't know, i forget.

do you recall do you forget
do you have any memory
of what just happened yesterday
do you believe what you were told
and do you feel at liberty
to question the status quo
oh i don't know
i don't who to  trust
i don't know who to believe
do you believe in equity
or everybody for themselves
do you believe in anything
do you have faith in anyone
or do you stand alone
no man is an island
oh i don't know

Great arrangement.

I love the drum loops and the keys and the acoustic guitar and the bass nearly blew out my speakers  :D

I don't know what its about either but it sounded good.

Loved it.

This song is deep. And by that I mean... loooow frequencies!

It sounded great through my laptop speakers. It was in headphones that it rattled my skull.

I like the subtle dynamics in the song. The bass and percussion drop out, and then come back. It's not a huge dynamic change; it's almost subliminal. But it keeps the music from feeling repetitive.

The lyrics remind me of Orwell's 1984; O'Brien's interrogation of Winston, where O'Brien makes Winston question his own memory, and whether the past actually exists. Your lyrics could actually be interpreted as a dialog.

O'BRIEN:Do you recall? Do you forget? Do you have any memory of what just happened yesterday? Do you believe what you were told, and do you feel at liberty to question the status quo?
WINSTON:Oh i don't know. I don't who to  trust. I don't know who to believe.
O'BRIEN:Do you believe in equity, or everybody for themselves? Do you believe in anything? Do you have faith in anyone? Or do you stand alone, Winston? No man is an island.

Reality exists in the human mind, and nowhere else. Not in the individual mind, which can make mistakes, and in any case soon perishes: only in the mind of the Party, which is collective and immortal. Whatever the Party holds to be the truth, is truth. It is impossible to see reality except by looking through the eyes of the Party.

Thanks for listening.

Lots of bass to wallow in here. The song and vocal delivery reminds me of early Peter Gabriel. Cool work.
