Wrote this & recorded the uke/vocal & tuba in about 90min. this afternoon in my car. Just did the flute here on the couch, all done on the 008.
1 uke/vocal (stereo)
1 tuba (thumbjam)
1 flute (thumbjam)
A Little Luck
written & performed by Hook
Wish I knew just what it was
that made me feel the way I feel
Then perhaps I could control
All the things I think and feel
And maybe then I realize
what and why I feel and felt
And it wouldn't stick to me
like Velcro sticks to felt

It doesn't need to be hard
It doesn't have to suck
And it'll all get better
With a little luck

Words are easy kind or cruel
It doesn't matter what you say
tomorrow is another day
you get to say what you say
And what you say can leave a mark
And always be the thing you said
And you will always wonder if you
Said the words that should've been said

I ain't tellin' you no lie
The hook brings you back

Nice melodies! Tuba and flute put this to another level! Really good improvisation especially on flute! I'm on the second listening! SWEET!

Until I played the song, I was sure it was called "a little duck".  I was thinking when did the duckfest start?  Have to get my eyes tested again.

Love the tuba and flute.  Sucker for flutes, me.

And a confident performance of a lovely song, which I enjoyed immensely.

You're right, it doesn't have to suck

We need more Tuba! Where is Neil Innes when you need him....?

I love the arrangement - who'd have thought that uke, tuba and flute would work?

And it's a fab song too! Double bonus!

Very cool young man! How on earth can you write/record a song in the car!!! Loved the flute as well, you are one talented guy

Loving the tube (the flute I find a little distracting) and really liking you staying in your lower register throughout the tune. It really works for this song.

Downloaded to Piepod as they say.
