I could only do a few takes of this at the time, so this is pretty much an improvised recording. Wanted to share it anyways. I wrote it out of another low moment I was trying to turn around.

I may have fallen
I might be displaced
And yes, for a moment
I may have shifted my gaze

But make no mistake
This is my game.
It goes my way,
I always have the final say.

And for all you do, honey...
The blood stain and scar-
The given breath you are-
Take it too far

This time I want the truth
My only rule, honey...
Make sure you leave me
Broken through

Rata-tat-tat

I dig it!!! You have a great voice and your skills on the keys are stellar!!!

I'm grateful you could take a quick listen. I hope to have time soon to work with an idea like this sound for some other lyrics I've had sitting around.

Another great song allysonmarie. I would love to hear this with a better recording and maybe a bigger arrangement.

Tangled Wires

Very, very nice, the piano melody is very interesting and has an almost slight staccato rhythm in places which creates, in my opinion, a slightly more minimalistic sound to your normal free flowing fuller playing style.

The power, as always, is in your song writing and performance, and yet another prime example here.

I'm sorry you have low moments but if it leads to good songs then it's a cross well bourne.  Excellent.  Willie
