as you may or may not know, i left my 1st uke "harold" in the more than capable hands of a waiter at the alikes restaraunt in tingaki in kos.

so meet "martin", "harold's" replacement.

i am missing harold already as i had him well trained. i think martin is gonna take a bit of training to stay in tune. when he is in tune (usually for no more than 10 seconds at a time) he sounds pretty good.

build quality seems good, but martin feels a little smaller than harold. i think the fretboard is a bit narrower.

got him from argos same shop as harold for same price £20. he is a "martin smith"

martin.

cuthbert christened him harold. it was a herald uke but cuthbert thought it said harold on the headstock logo. lol.

martin also seems to be a bit quieter than harold, but sounds nice.

not managed to get him to stay in tune for the duration of a full song yet, but once i do i'll record another version of "everybody knows that i love you" by the divine comedy, as that was the last song i ever played on harold, on my last day in Kos at the alikes restaurant.
